Two years on the infra team — mostly the real deal

Transparency4Autonomy4Growth5Balance2Inclusion4

Joined in 2024 when we were 60 people. The thing nobody tells you: leadership here actually shows you the numbers. Runway, churn, the deal that fell through — all of it, every all-hands. That trust flows downhill and it's why people stay through the hard parts.

The hard parts are real though. On-call is every third week and incidents don't respect weekends. If you have small kids, ask pointed questions before you sign.

On Jana Reuter · counts toward their leader rating

Demanding but never dishonest. She told me exactly why I didn't get the staff promo, with examples. Stung, but I trusted her more after.

Can confirm the all-hands thing. I interviewed elsewhere and realized how rare it is.

Exactly. It ruins you for normal companies.

How bad is on-call in practice? Pages per week?
